We are a family run business with a long standing interest in photography and old enough (unfortunately!) to have used both negative film and digital camera’s for our portfolios. With conversion of negative film to digital format, we have experience of using digital scanners for 15 years.

Negative Film, slides and VHS tapes deteriorate over time. You may already have noticed discolouration, fading, collection of adherent dust on your negative film or slides or damage to VHS tapes. A digital copy is not associated with development of these shortcomings and we highly recommend at least one back up copy to be sure you maintain those cherished memories.

Typical scanners from the high street offer reasonable scanning, but more than likely result in slightly out of focus images and problems of fading, colour drift and dust remain. Our professional Nikon scanners allow accurate conversion of negative film to digital by focusing and use software to improve image defects.
